On-Board Beauty - Your In-Flight Beauty Essentials

Being in exotic, foreign places is fun. Travelling? Not so much, especially when you're a beauty hoarder and practically need an entire suitcase for your cosmetics alone. But your travel beauty essentials really are essentials - unless you want dry, traumatised skin.

Before Your Flight:
- Avoid wearing makeup before a long-haul flight, you may look like a slob in the airport, but your skin will thank you. If you must wear makeup, be sure to keep it minimal with a BB cream or tinted moisturiser.
- Make sure you pack travel or sample-sized beauty products - you don't want to risk getting caught out in security and having to toss your micellar water in the trash.

Onboard: (Listed in order of application for your convenience)
-  Face/makeup removing wipes - Take off your makeup/freshen up throughout the flight with some face wipes like these ones from First Aid Beauty.
- Face mask - Plane flights are EFF'n long, so use this time to treat yo'self to a face mask. We love the Dr. Jart masks (especially because you don't need to wash them off!)
- Eye Cream/Serum - Avoid those pesky dark under-eyes that come with a long-haul flight by using an eye cream. Benefit's It's Potent Eye Cream is great for avoiding dark circles.
- Face Serum - Give your skin some extra love with a facial serum like the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery II
- Moisturiser - Your skin is going to be exposed to some pretty dry air on the plane, counteract this with a high quality moisturiser (extra points if it has SPF). Here at EFF Mag, we love Estee Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme

And voila! You'll be arriving at your destination looking fresh and fabulous! Happy travels!
